For years, Michael watched airplanes cross the Carolina sky during his morning commute. He told himself what most people do: “Maybe someday.” Someday when work slowed down. Someday when life was less busy. Someday when he felt confident enough. Then one Saturday, he drove to the airport just to look around. That’s when he discovered Race City Flight Operations. He expected a typical training environment — complicated, intimidating, maybe even a little unwelcoming. Instead, he found instructors who spoke his language.
