  • Hurricane Helene: The staff, pilots, and volunteers at RCFO would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support shown to the communities in Western NC. We are grateful to have been of service during these unfortunate circumstances and wish we could do more. Our hearts go out to the lives that have been lost and the homes that have been destroyed. While relief efforts are still ongoing, we will continue to pray for our neighbors and service members who are actively trying to rebuild what was lost. We are still working on dispersing what donations we have, but we wanted to take a moment to recognize the support we have received that allows us to continue fighting for our friends in the West. 💙❤️

Race City Flight Operations provided me one of my most memorable experience to date. I was a pilot/ co-pilot of a plane thanks to my discovery flight with pilot Elliot. Known them for several years now. After being at multiple flight schools in two states, and talking among many peers, one of the best things I can say is that Race City cares about their students. I participated in the Discovery flight and had a great experience exactly as advertised. All of the staff is super friendly and did an excellent job of walking me through the pre-flight checklist as well as what to do mid flight.
