Let’s be honest- I’m learning to fly is a significantly cooler response to What did you do this weekend? than I watched Netflix. There is a specific kind of magic that happens when you push the throttle forward, feel the engine roar to life, and realize you’re about to leave the world’s problems on the runway. Flight training is a mix of high-stakes focus and pure, unadulterated joy. It’s about the adrenaline of your first landing, the view of the sunset from 4,000 feet, and the realization that you now have a key to the sky. If you’re tired of the view from the ground, come join the crew. The air is much better up here.
